very true "finallyfree"! when I was in school I followed tab on some brass intruments... the fingureing which was much wager than the guiter tab... cos on a valved brass intrument, u can play several notes with just one finguring, depending on the harmonic series. So I was really very eager to find out a solution for this. And finally came to know about music notation and sight reading. So guys... if you cant memorize a piece of music... go for sight reading and never tab.

This is an interesting topic......I love to talk about this but..will be be long...so in short..first I would like to mention....in Tablature…..you can get the music notes by the numbers..BUT YOU WILL NOT GET the rhythm. You can only get the rhythm if you ONLY knw the song. ( digital tabs – plays the gets you the beat of the song )

But a standard music notation comes along with both…and many more like… dynamics. .tempo. .key signatures…modulation.. etc… so. its up you guys to choose ..

Thankx
