Music Theory in Dhivehi
Here we profile one of the works by Mohamed Jameel. He has written and published a downloadable “Online Music Theory Course” in .pdf format on his web site. And, it is written in Dhivehi!
Although the twelve chapters are fundemental, they are indeed informative in terms of content and include some basic illustrative graphics which could have been better. Nevertheless, it is important to appreciate his efforts in writing literature for educational purposes – for free!
This would certainly help Maldivians who are not fluent in other languages; who want to learn basic fundementals of music theory.
