I would like to see…
- A venue: where musicians could interact, learn, share and express
- A venue: which cuts across generations, ideological differences and bureaucracy
- A venue: where musicians could capitalize on what they have in common; than differences
- A venue: which will help eleviate musicians from subsistence to professionalism
- A venue: where we could export our music

I would like to see more gigs. And more apprecaition of music as a means of sharing our selves with each other. I think life in Male’ right now is really in need for a medium like music for us to process the density of accumulated information, emotion, etc. as a result of all the changes we have gone through in the last few decades. Our environments – physical, social, emotional – are all changing at a fast pace, and with it, our lifestyles. I think music, espcially played live, can do a lot to make society more cohesive.
On a day to day to level, I would just like to go and see more live music insmall venues in Male’ and other islands. And if there were our own music as opposed to covers it would be even more enjoyable. I have seen teh beginnign of such a scene in Male’ twice now, separated over a decade. But something fizzles out and the gigs are not continured. My new year wish is that the music loving community will find the inspiration and motivation to sustain the live gig scene.

this year we had a quiet good start…..
the eXposure unplugged..revival and fasy show which was just awesome!!..
hope that we would have a good year……….
