“Fumey Meeheh” wanted
We need to jam with a fumey meeheh (sax, trumpet, trombone, flute – it doesn’t really matter), the only condition being that she or he must be in possession or can easily get hold of an instrument (fumey echcheh), simply because we haven’t got one ourselves.
We play, or try to play, music of all kinds – mostly jazz-oriented blues with lots of percussion.

We’ve found plenty people who can play wind instruments and all. I have to agree with Dylan that ‘fumey echchethi’ is in short supply in the Maldives. I’d like to point this out to both Island Music and Six-X at somepoint. And as I’ve heard they come at quite a cost. A saxophone at around MRf. 14,000! Which is quite expensive to say the least, or so I’d say.
Anyway,we really need both the “instrument” and the “musician”. This has been a painstaking search. What we’re looking for is that one needle in the haystack!
See ya around Dylan.
