Fasy Wins “Best Unsigned Guitarist”!
Faseeh has won the prestiges “Best Unsigned Guitarist” award in the UK Emergenza Band Competition 2006 with over 300 bands competing through the preliminary and semi-final rounds. The band Fasy made it to the top five while “Kid at the Back” won the first place. His current line up includes Ibrahim (Ibbe) and Arafat (Addo).
Fasy plans to go ahead in full swing with this newly gained exposure. We wish them all the success.

i was at the show. and the band FASY should have won..! sometimes the best team doesnt always win. It was a tremendous achievment for the band to be playing there, and although i may be slightly biased, i think Fasy was the best band that played on the night! Well done Fasy for winning the guitar, that vote was a “no brainer”, Fasy’s guitar playing was on a different level to any of the other players there. Addo looked great up there on stage, and showed his worth with great bass playing…Ibbe, well he should have won the symbols for being the best drummer! So Maldives be proud you have a SHIT HOT Band in FASY.

The first time saw Fasseh live, I knew that greatness would come to this gifted axeman. Speed and riffs aside, the emotions and “feel” that he runs his fingers effortless through the fretboard is just awsome!
His chops and licks (planned or impromptu) always gives you a “high” from the build-up.
He is in the ZONE !
Iam blessed to be able to enjoy and witness Fasseh.
