Detune at ITB – Maldivian Night
Detune is scheduled to perform in Berlin, Germany, on 7th March 2007 at ITB. The band has been selected to perform at the Maldivian Night at this event. They will leave Male’ on the 5th and will be returning on 16th March 2007.
Detune currently performs at select high-end resorts in the Maldives. They perform both as a soft music band and as a disco band. “The distinctive feature of my band is that we play a huge variety of music … [including] jazz, classic, blues, rock and roll, reggae, samba, latin, disco and local Maldivian music.” explains Fezleen, the band leader.
First emerging as a trio and later transforming themselves into a full band, Detune is currently one of the highest paid resort bands in the Maldives.

We are big fans – and friends – of these guys having seen them perform in the Maldives in 2004 & 2005 and have enjoyed their company both in the Maldives and here in teh UK where they have visited us.
I hope true success is not too far away from them.
