MUSIC by Sound Anatomy
MUSIC – Maldivian Unsigned Sounds in Competition is a competitive platform for bands playing original material. A series of Clash Nights will precede the Grand Finale in which, four bands will compete for the Grand Prize. According to soundanatomy.com, the winner of the Grand Finale will receive a record contract and performance opportunities abroad.
MUSIC will be accepting applications for a period of two weeks from 20th March 2007. Application Forms will be available for download from http://soundanatomy.com/downloads/Application_Form.pdf.
Clash Nights will be held two nights a week in which three to six bands will perform. The first of this series of events, is planned for 3rd May 2007. Every band will get a time frame to perform their originals. From each clash night 2 bands would qualify to the next round and 4 bands go through to the Grand Finale and win recording opportunity in Malaysia. For details refer to our Rules & Regulations. Selection criteria will be based on Judges decision and audience votes.

hey i have a question….
what if the band does not want to sell the 25 tickets ……will they be disqualified…
cause i’m sure lots of ppl will come to see the show, even though the bands don’t sell any tickets personaly

No, the band wont be disqualified. we sell the tickets to the bands at a rate of 25/-, bands are free to sell at any reasonable price that they see fit.

better….but what i wanted to know was can the bands skip the ticket selling part or can it be optional…….like they can do it if they want to…but don’t have to do it

actually,the bands are judged as follows: 60% is performance,30% is fan base,10% is punctuality. and the 30% of fan base is divided as 15% as in entrance & another 15% as how many tickets are sold. so if in any case the band skips the ticket selling part the band looses 30% of their scoring.

guys wat r u doing?no updates?wat the hell r u guys doing?is it really on 17th of May 2007?u should give updates u know.people r very less patient nowadays.is it true tht only 5 bands participated in ur competition?In domination fest ’07(organised by music house) have 15 bands.so keep giving updates ok.Gud luck.
