Domination Fest ‘07
Domination Fest ’07 is organized by Music House in consultation with the rock bands of Maldives, according to their wishes. This is the first of its kind. It’s a musical series in which two bands will perform fortnighly on Thursday nights at the Youth Centre “Harugeâ€Â, starting from 17th May 2007. Domination Fest is not a competition and there will be no knock out bands. The audience will get to vote for their favourite band. At the end of each round the votes collected from every night’s performance will decide the best bands. It’s all in the hands of the audience as they are the only people that matter to the bands.
TERMS:
The show will be divided in to two rounds, where half of the bands from Round One will be taken to Round Two. And 5 bands from this round will be selected to perform at the Grand Finale to be held at the end of the series.

The main purpose of the Music House’s Domination Fest is to keep the youth musically occupied, to give them something to pass their time by, a means of enjoyment, a night life, rather than wasting their time. And to give the opportunity for all the rock bands in the Maldives to show their potential in being creative. The Music House is currently working on other projects related to music in promoting and bringing forward the originality of this musical nation. It’s time to cover up the cover songs.

Blues was the begining/master of all genres. You can find it in rock n roll, progressive rock, heavy metal, thrash even death metal! “L i s t e n” to music a little more.

yeah no blues, no music! all genres related to rock was originated from blues… so any bands of Blues or Jazz Fusion could participate?

hey ur saying there wont b any knockouts but once the first round is over only a half of the band go to the second round then what happens to the bands that didnt make it to the second round
