Domination Fest Updates
The bands to perform at the domination fest has been finalised and the dates too. But there has been a little change in our schedule.
We had previously planned to have the show every fortnight which will last till the end of December. But unfortunately MCSE is unable to accommodate us for such a long time and we had to squeeze it in to two and a half month with performances on every Thursday night.
Everything else is the same; each band has to perform one whole hour with at least one original song. And the bands would be judged according to the votes of the audience. So be there to vote for your favourite band.
Listed below are the dates and the bands set to performing at the round one.
31st May Xn Jam – Traphic Jam
07th June Scores of Flair – Damned
14th June The Unborn – Sacred legacy
21st June De Myth – Tormenta
28th June Serenity Dies – Nothnagal

looks the first and the final nights of this first round is gonna rock hard other than that i dont see any competition here…the rest of the nights…results are obvious…

We the fans never get enough rock concerts, so when you organize a grand thing like “Domination fest†makes sure the fans of each band knows the time and Date. Yes you have put a lot of posters around male’ but on the first night when “Traphic Jam†played, a lot of fans specially seeing then rock at “0 degrees reunion†. Launching a mass sms might be a good thought to conceder before the next show. Especially when u have the fans voting with there ticket subs after each show. But the location was really cool, certainly had a real “undergroung†feel to the place. Good luck to the management team and all the bands.

I SAW A POSTER WHICH SAYS “INDEPENDENT SLAVES AND TRAPHIC JAM” BUT THAT NIGHT LATER I CHECKED IT WAS X N JAM AND TRAPHIC JAM ROCKING THE PLACE. WHO ARE “INDEPENDENT SLAVES”? ANY ONE KNOW?

actually i was there dat nite……..it wasnt X and Jam it was a guest band called Raastas… due to sum problem independent slaves couldnt play (i heard so)………i think its important to be there at the beginig ………specially for rock shows…..u never know wat mite come up or not………cos its really hard here in maldives to organise rock shows…….cos most people who play are involved in loads of activities in there life other than artists of other countries…..isnt it???

it seems that lots of things are changing…….due to several reasons they have had to change the arrangements of the bands performing……the latest update it
07th siren and scores of flair (it’s a jam night as damned’s faube had to leave male’)

i hope it does not change any more……..cause like someone said above….it’s would really be hard to hold something like this for a long time…..after all how can u bind a rock band to a contract,,…..heheheheee

i know its hard but i think the Organizers should announce or atleast upload in the internet if Bands that are suppose to performed are NOT gona play. i like to be know if “Scores of Flair” and “Damned” canceled or not… i think Organizers could do that for the fans even our artists are not quite like artists of other countries …. isnt it ???
