Dhu’ngethivaa

_dhungethivaa.jpgDhu’ngethivaa, organized by Green Biz will be held on 20th July 2007, in Artificial Beach Stage at 2100hrs.

Xn Jam, Damned and Dittore Head are scheduled to perform.

“Dhu’ngethivaa” is a special music show organized by Green biz Maldives to expose the business entity and to emphasize on the billion tree programme of the United Nation. “Dhu’ngethivaa” is a Dhivehi word called for the thick foliage in Male’ a long time ago which no longer exist. We chose to use this name in order to revive the lost greenery of Male’ and to inspire people to cultivate sustainable urban greenery.

The theme “One tree can save a life! – A billion tree can save the planet!” suggests the our emphasis on the billion tree programme.

Why a concert again…!!!! ofcourse another platform for few bands to perform… but does it really fullfill the purpose? Oh yes… maybe cos the poster says a guiter for every tree…. Slogan says……………………………………………

  5. Tim Kusalik Says:

lately there seems to be so many causes to put up music shows .. but non for the love of music ..

  6. Crazy Says:

    Hello Tim,

The poster depict their tru love for music. The juxtaposition of a guitar and a tree means that both have a good relationship. I like love the poster design and concept which is very unique. Even if it is to promote a business o whatever image, music is the best alternative to convey the message.
