Its Zero Degree Atoll. They are looking for a professional, repeat . .professional drummer.
And the great thing about it is that they are going to provide training for this professional drummer.
Oxford dictionary describes a professional as “a person who is expert at his or her work and who earns a living from that work”
Either Nashid made a mistake or the Admin of this site made a mistake . . anyhow that is a mistake.
Professionals do not need training. They just need to get associated with any lineup they are required to perform with.
Come to think of it . . . does anybody know of anyone (who plays any instrument) who was trained by Nashid.
OOPS . . Sorry!! . .with all due respect, that is . .

it is not because ahmed had a different swing of life that zero degree atoll went haywire after that.. it was because someone who wanted to be on the spot light forgot to let the rest of the band shine, when he did not realise that he was the weak leg in the band. ahmed was the spirit and flow of that band.. if not nashid wud have come up with something even similar to those songs on ‘dhoni’. but its been so many years and we have heard nothing but different remixes of the songs that they made together as a band when they were young. fame gets to some people. its a shame that such a so called – legend like nashid has to face it too. pity his greed for money and lack of respect to friends. i hope he’s learned a lesson now.
one clear example is, why wud nashid be requesting to look for a drummer on ‘music in maldives’ if things were ok? another desparate attempt to take advantage of some dude is what i see.
i have one advice for u guys who are thinking of joining them.. make sure u get ur half of the money u earn. and make sure its worth it and make sure its worth giving to the drummer of ZERO DEGREE ATOLL. who ever you are.
